selecting a starter computer for the video production business

Hello everyone viewing this blog i thought  i would update everyone out there on what all has been going on the last few days. so heres what all has been going on..

I have a laptop which i use to record live video from the built in webcam(buit in webcam video sucks) and to make my whiteboard videos on and my explainer type videos on, well over the past 3 months its been giving me a headache starting with getting a message on windows to back up my data and replace the hard drive, well i thought it might had been some bogus pop up thing that you sometimes get and and really didnt pay any attention to it until it came to one day about 3 weeks ago when i restarted my computer before the windows loaded i got an error messsage saying "imminate hard drive failure" so.... everytime i start up my laptop now i cross my fingers that it is gonna load...

I am use to having refubished computers or "hand me downs" actually the computer i am using right now to type this blog post is one that i got a steal on, Its an apple ibook g4 ( i know the computer experts out there are like ( wow does that even still work) and the answer is YES. Is it the fastest? NO!! can it newer programs? NO!!! but with that being said its a nice laptop to use for my writings and for my blogs and what not..

So back to the main reason i am writting this blog post, I have been looking at desktops to find one to get, the one i have sitting on my desk is an olld emachine, which i dont currently have a monitor for and it only has 512mb ram and 80 gb hd. So i have a solution i plan on getting a use monitor and getting a Dell Optiplex 745 for my starter computer for my video production, and storing completed videos in the cloud until i can afford to upgrade that computer.

The dell Optiplex and monitor is gonna cost me about $75, that is alot better then paying $400 or $500 for a brand new computer..

a deeper view of my life

As the old saying goes.... everyone has a story, A story about their life..  here is some of my story

as stated in a previous blog entry, I was diagnosed with cerebal  Palsy back in november, and i will be the first to admit that kinda threw me for a loop it just wasnt something that i was expecting to hear even thought I have lived with it all my life.. Things just seem easier to accept if they dont have a name or so it seems.

Anyways i digress, growing up wasnt easy for me.. I always was different, the right side of my body is weaker then the rest. ok i am take yall back to when i was.. when i was born i wasnt breathing when i was born and was in and out of the hospital till i was 1 year old. at that time i would have seziures, but after a year i was healthy as a horse and i still tend to be a very healthy person 30 years later.. My parents was told that IF i lived i would be vegatable the rest of my life ( i guess i proved those doctors wrong)..

From the time i was in kindergarden till the time i was in 6th grade i had phyical and ocupational thearpy 5 days a week... I will be the first to admit, in school i was bullied yes i was because i was differnt and people usually make fun of the "different one".. around 5th grade or so i got braces on my legs that went half way up the calf...talk about kicking someone when they are down... and yes that really was a hard thing to adjust to being a kid and having to strap braces on your legs

then came the high school years , High school is hard on a normal teen, its even harder on a teen with a disablity.. even though i have never really considered myself as having a disability. i never let that stop me from doing anything.. by the time i turned 16 (that age everyone wants to drive and get their first job, I got my first job it was as a bagger at a local grocery store.. Its hard on me doing phycial jobs because my brain thinks faster then my body can get them done.. High school proved to be not challenging to me at all, so i dropped out and got my ged within 3 months.. which was kinda cool in a way, i got my ged and went to college.. I never dated through high school or college, I know its weird.. i did get the nerve to ask a woman out in high school she was a couple years older then me and all she did was laugh at me.

anyways, the college years came, i worked in a restraunt on campus and went to school... I never let anyone know about my past.. the them i was another person in my late teens..


anyways its always been hard on me to keep a job due to the fact of my disability. i have (in the last year) written a book ( its currntly being revised because it was published in 2011) the book is about keeping kids safe online.

i am now trying to start a video production business to make a life for myself. if you notice to the right there is a donate now button, If you can help in any way it would mean the world to me..

sometimes when it rains it pours

Hello blogispher, Just trying to get a blog post out each day or at least every other day... this just doesn't seem to be my week. Alot has been going (mostly bad).. i am trying to get work done and make sample videos but its really been a struggle. I am working as hard as i can to get everything up and going. I want this business to be as successful as possible. In later blog posts i will be putting links to sample videos that i create now so my reader can see what i am currently producing.

Anyway, i thought i would give everyone a view of why this is so important to me. A little about my background,When i was born i wasn't breathing, i wasn't breathing for a while actually, Short after that i started having seizures and was in and out of the hospital, It was said that if i lived i would be a vegetable. I sure defyed those odds, anyways growing up i was always told that the right side of my body was weaker then the rest and yes i could tell it was but i still tried to live a active life as a kid but i knew something was different..

In elementary school i was taking physical and occupational therapy, Right along the lines of 3rd grade or so they noticed that my feet were turning out so for the next 3 years i wore braces on my legs, then my braces was shortened down to just fit in my shoes ......the years went one and it wasn't up until about 3 years ago i took them out of my shoes for good..

getting to why this is so important to me, I have always had a hard time with jobs, being with my disability it was hard for me to do allot of physical stuff even though i had allot of therapy over the years.. fast forward to November of this past year... i had an appointment and all. and well after 30 years i have a diagnosis of what is wrong with me, I have a very mild case of cerebral palsy, If you was to see me on the street you couldn't tell at all. Shoot i haven't even told my Friends... Well now that i have got this news its making it more difficult on me granted before the diagnosis i know there was something. but it having name now has really thrown me for a loop.

anyways why this business start up is so important to me is because i really need this for my survival and i have what it takes to make this a big success..

I am gonna end this blog here and will blog more about how things are going to tomorrow or the next day, I want to keep you the readers up to date on everything

Welcome post ( a little bit on why i am trying to start this business)

Welcome to my Quality Local videos blog. I thought I would create a blog to document my journey into starting a video production business and give all my fallowers a look into what goes into starting a business in this moden age. How great is that you can start a business these days and be able to document every step..

A little bit on why i am starting this video production business... I am gonna get a little personal here and share why i am starting a business and it will be a little about my background so to speak... When i was born i wasnt breathing and shortly after birth started having seziures, well the lack of oxygen at birth left me with a disibility.. the right side of my body is weaker then the rest. Making it very difficult to find a job.

Here come why i am starting this business, I am very tech savvy and love to produce things.. I am starting this business in hopes of securing a future for myself. Only problem is I dont currently have the equipment to start this business.I am hopeing soon to have the finances to start this business. I am working day and night to start this business.

Once i have the right equipment i will be make testimonial videos for business and  produce commercials for businesses. Currently i am making explainer type videos and whiteboard type videos for businesses but they are few and far between. I am really wanting to make this happen and like i mentioned before i am taking all my fallowers on this blog and on my youtube channel along for the ride so to speak. So if you want to be apart of the ride fallow this blog..

Also i am gonna be making product reviews and and tv and movie reviews. i have 2 episodes of a new tv show i am gonna make reviews of and one movie to review and for my other channel i have alot of videos on and i have more planned to come.. anyways i am gonna end this blog post here and i will update everyone soon thanks for reading.
